StoopidXool

You can always tell when a song is produced by StoopidXool. Meshing his technical knowledge of music with atmospheric melodies and a sixth sense for his idiosyncratic sound, the Florida producer’s distinctive style has become synonymous with many of rap’s most exciting young stars over the past few years. With collaborators ranging from Gunna, Yung Bans, and Fredo Santana all the way to emerging stars such as Queens’ Flee, Xool’s success is a product of work ethic and growth, day in and day out.

It all started back in high school, when his love for music led to a position as tenor drum in the school band. Learning to read music and slowly developing his ear, Xool began playing around with a friend’s keyboard, and immediately knew he wanted to be a producer. Starting off with local rappers and eventually moving toward A-lister placements, his sound became a force in the underground, leading to the creation of the Pluggz Movement alongside Beat Pluggz, A$att Beats, Mexikodro, Corey Lingo, and PoloBoyShawty.

Now a few years removed, countless placements later, and fresh off the release of Flee’s Xool Summer tape, Xool looks forward to developing more new artists, all while continuing to craft today’s popular sounds as he has in the past. “The goal is just to grow and elevate every day, while making the music I want to make.” By the sounds of it, you can expect to hear a lot more from Florida’s own in the months to come. With a style as unique as his, time never runs out.
